About Us

Voltera makes rapid prototyping platforms for printed electronics — from traditional circuit boards to the flexible, stretchable, conformable, and biocompatible electronics of tomorrow.

Our History

Founded in 2013 by Jesus Zozaya, Katarina Ilić, James Pickard, and Alroy Almeida, Voltera began as an idea — an easy-to-use PCB printer that fits on your desktop. By 2015, that idea came to life with the release of V-One, a PCB printer that can drill, print conductive traces, dispense solder paste, and reflow using a heated bed.

Next came NOVA in 2022. It’s a materials dispensing platform for printing flexible hybrid electronics. It can dispense screen printable material on flexible, stretchable, conformable, and biocompatible substrates.

As the additive electronics industry evolves, Voltera is positioned to scale and tackle new challenges, advancing its mission of removing barriers to entry by making printed electronics more accessible.

Our Why

Our Why

We catalyze innovation by removing barriers to entry — technological, educational, geographical, financial, and more. Our products and services help our customers solve meaningful problems and unlock their potential.

Our Products

V-One

V-One is a PCB printer that unlocks desktop rapid prototyping of traditional electronics. It drills through holes and prints vias, prints conductive traces, dispenses solder paste, and reflows on the heated bed.

V-One was born out of a vision to bring the revolutionary speed and customization of 3D printing to electronics prototyping, filling a void in rapid electronics development. It enables users to overcome traditional barriers by providing the tools to innovate and iterate right at their desktops.

NOVA

NOVA is a materials dispensing system for printing novel electronics. Print on flexible, stretchable, conformable, and biocompatible materials, or on rigid substrates like FR1, FR4, silicon wafers, and more.

NOVA emerged as a solution for researchers and innovators who were “hacking” existing tools for advanced material experiments. It was designed to meet the unique demands of material research, providing precise dispensing capabilities to work on a diverse array of substrates.
