Wearables

Wearables refer to electronic devices that can be worn on the body, implanted within the body, or even tattooed on the skin. This includes footwear, body wear, wristwear, eyewear, headwear, microchip implants, and even injectable smart tattoos [1].

While not all wearables are inherently flexible, they constitute a significant proportion of flexible electronics. These devices incorporate components that can be made flexible, such as screens, batteries, and integrated circuits — they conform to body movements without causing discomfort or losing conductivity.
